Turning ideas into entrepreneurial confidence

Youthpreneur 2025 – Teen Track by Divergent Entrepreneur Academy brought together creativity, business thinking and AI-powered learning in a full-day workshop. Designed for young people aged 15–20, the programme encouraged participants to explore ideas, ask questions and practise the skills involved in turning an idea into something they could share with others.

The workshop followed the 4D Framework of Discover, Dream, Develop and Deliver, giving teens a practical setting to think about their interests, develop an idea and communicate its potential.

Starting with confidence and connection

The programme opened with energising icebreakers designed to help participants speak up, get to know one another and build confidence in communication. Small-group discussions and personal reflection created space to explore ambitions and consider a first step towards making an idea real.

Developing ideas with guidance

Hands-on idea workshops paired creative thinking with expert mentorship. Participants were encouraged to consider the practical questions behind a business idea, including what it offers, how to promote it, the costs involved and how it might generate income.

Exploring AI as a creative business tool

AI masterclass sessions introduced ways to use AI throughout the idea-development process. The programme covered prompt engineering, strategy and research, marketing, product development, choosing suitable AI tools, and simple, teen-appropriate automation.

These sessions connected AI tools to practical entrepreneurial tasks, giving participants a starting point for experimenting with ideas and refining their work.
